BUILT BY A VETERAN.
ROOTED IN COMMUNITY.

Sam Westfall is an Army veteran, lifelong hunter, and the driving force behind Valor Archery Challenge. After years of competitive shooting and watching fellow veterans struggle to find meaningful connection after service, he came to a simple conclusion: archery can be a bridge—from isolation to community, from stress to presence, and from “what now?” to “what’s next?”

That belief extends beyond Valor's events. Sam serves as a local Colorado Springs ambassador for both Veterans Beer Club and IVMF, helping create opportunities for veterans to connect, build relationships, and stay engaged in the community.

Every Valor event is designed with that same purpose in mind: creating an environment where focus, discipline, connection, challenge, and a sense of accomplishment come together through archery.

For Sam, Valor isn't about looking back. It's about finding what's next.

Valor Archery Challenge is proud to be recognized as the

2026 Veteran-Owned Business of the Year for El Paso County.

For us, this recognition represents more than an award. It reflects the work we're doing to build community through archery, create challenging outdoor experiences, and provide a place where veterans, families and outdoor enthusiasts can come together.

RECOGNIZED BY THE PIKES PEAK OUTDOOR COMMUNITY

2026 Pikes Peak Outdoors Award Nominee — Outdoor Business

We're honored to be nominated for a 2026 Pikes Peak Outdoors Award for Outdoor Business, recognizing businesses helping strengthen outdoor recreation, community, and connection across the Pikes Peak region.

For Valor, this recognition means more than a nomination. It's a reflection of what we're working to build—an outdoor experience that brings people together through challenge, archery, and community, while creating a place where veterans and civilians can connect through something they love.

We're proud to be part of the Pikes Peak outdoor community—and even prouder to help make it stronger.

What to Expect

  • 🧠 Decompression: Focus, breath control, and present-moment awareness built into every course.

"These courses helped me block out the noise. I brought my 8-year-old son and we totally loved it." > — Danny, Marine Veteran

Who We Are For

Valor was built by veterans, for veterans—but it's open to anyone who values challenge, community, and the outdoors. Active duty, veterans, military families, and civilian supporters are all welcome.

See you on the range,

— Sam Westfall
